Welcome to WildBark Design!

WildBark Design was inspired during Covid when Laura Patterson, owner and founder, spent a lot of time at home and want to learn a new skill. She bought her first live edge slabs without knowing what to do with them. She later decided to give wood burning a try and made her first charcuterie board. Laura did not think it would be a huge hit amongst friends and family, but suddenly many people became interested. The business was put on hold when Covid numbers slowed down and Laura went back to work. Recently, Laura has been asked to create boards for friends and family and decided it was time to create WildBark Design.

WildBark Design was created to allow Laura to share her passion for art through wood burning. This allows her art to have functional uses along with being a beautiful piece of custom artwork. Laura focuses on wood burning live edge slabs from local sources around the Charleston, SC area.
